Food for Thought

Residents of the IRAs have recently taken on a new initiative to eat healthier and make meal-planning a priority.

With help from a nutritionist, residents and counselors worked together to create weekly menus that meet each resident’s dietary needs and preferences, including healthier twists on some old favorites! After the plan was in place, residents went to the grocery store to stock up on a week’s worth of meals. This new approach to healthier meals that honor individual preferences has been well received by everyone at the IRAs!
