The Kelberman Center Employment Program offers various opportunities for people to obtain meaningful work experiences. Andrew Lovenguth is one of those participants who has not only taken part in The Center’s College Coaching Program, but its Pre-Employment Transitional Services (Pre-ETS) as well. After graduating from high school in June 2019, Andrew completed his first year of college at MVCC for Computer Information Systems. Andrew then joined the Kelberman Center Pre-ETS program, eager to learn work readiness and self-advocacy skills, along with obtaining his very first job.
Steve Clark, Executive Director at Delta Lake Bible Conference Center in Rome, met with The Kelberman Center employment team and discussed an opportunity for an internship at their up-and-coming screen printing business, Generous TEES. Andrew interviewed with Steve and was officially offered an internship. Andrew was beyond thrilled and excited to begin his new employment adventure. His love for fun shirt logos and the opportunity to learn new computer programs made this internship a perfect fit and the goal of this vocational program. Steve has commented, “We are so excited that Generous TEES can provide the environment for Andrew and so many others to come and learn life and trade skills and create quality products.”
